A celebration of Southside history, culture and people!
Asheville’s historic Southside neighborhood is responding to high levels of gentrification and poverty by rising for a new future that ensures everyone has a healthy place to live, learn, work, worship and play. Join us on July 14 from 1pm – 9pm at the Arthur Edington Center during Southside Rising For Justice, a family-friendly community celebration featuring food, music, cultural performances and hands-on interactive social justice activities for residents of the neighborhood.
